My conclusion?

Hello my dear friends!,well, this will be the last post that I will write :c,and I will tell you about the whole experience about writing this blogs.

Well, I really enjoyed writing all these blogs, it helped me a lot wrote about all the problems that I've to face all my life , and, I love write about me , the kind of music that I listen ,my favourite movies ,my favourite photo, and even things about my career(like nanotechnology).And,I think that I improve my abilities about writing in english. Thanks Mr. Telha for gave me the opportunity of learn about myself <3  

Now , I´d like to talk,as the last post, about all of us.In this faculty( and in this career),I´ve meet a lot of beautiful people<3, including a person very special in my life <3.But , I´ve met a lot of people that really dislike me..., people that are selfish,people that are very arrogant, people who thinks they are better than others just because they´ve a better score, and that is not cool bro.

This career is one of the most difficult one, most of us are very stressed,sad and with the feeling of we made a mistake choosing this career.We must help each other,we must be kind,attentive,worried ,and friendly,because I don´t want to become a machine with a title in my hands,

Enjoy your life, do not kill yourself studying,enjoy this career,study,get drunk,get high,smile,cry,scream,laugh a lot,fall in love with someone,don´t lost your humanity,don´t become a machine.

Something very important to us

NANOPARTICLES

Hello again my dear friends!.As you know I am a student in the career of chemistry and pharmacy and,in this career,its very important the chemistry(obviously) and the particles(like cells,virus,etc).In this post I´m going to talk to you about some particles that are very small, but that are very important too, I´m going to talk about the Nanoparticles.

The Nanoparticles are VERY SMALL (they are between 1 and 100 nanometers), they are used in the discipline of Nanotechnology.The Nanotechnology is the manipulation of particles in very small scale (atomic,molecular and supramolecular),with the objective of get benefits using a lot of disciplines (like organic chemistry, molecular biology,  microfabrication, molecular engineering,etc)

Now I´m going to do a focus in the area of Pharmaceutical nanotechnology,I learned about this area this year and i choose it basically because this area is very important in my career,a chemistry pharmacist work in everything related with medicaments(like the production, the effects, innovation ,etc)

So,this area uses a lot of disciplines(like microfabrication) with the aim of improving in the direction of delivery of the drugs, to a type of specific cells or tissues  improve the oral bioavailability(to sustain the effect of drugs or genes on a tissue for longer,to improve the solubility of drugs for intravascular administration,to improve the stability of therapeutic agents against the enzymatic degradation of the nucleases and proteases,among others.

This area is very important for all the humans( and animals too) now and in the future,because the viruses are constantly muting, and we need to have the best medicaments to face them.

My favourite subject

Hi again!,as you know, I´m an student of first year in the career of Chemistry and Pharmacy.In this career I like some subjects (like General Chemistry or Laboratory techniques), but there is one subject that i really love, this subject is know as "The Pharmaceutical Chemist and his action".But...why I chose it as my favourite subject?

Well, in this subject we learn and know A LOT of things about my career:the labour field, what is the Pharmaceutical Chemist function in a lot of areas ,etc.

This subject divides in four sections(we are 20 students and there is 2 teachers per section).The first one is the section of "Talks",In this section come pharmaceutical chemists to show us what is their action in their areas.The second one is "Terminology", in this section we learn some important things that we should know as Pharmaceutical Chemist (like what is a medicament,what is pharmacovigilance ,pharmacokinetics,our function in drugstores(for example),etc).The third section is"Visits", in this section we do visits (Daaaah!) to some laboratories,hospitals,medical consultants,etc,to know what is the function of the Pharmaceutical Chemist in that places, I really love this section because it´s the most funny one.And the last section, and the worst in my opinion, is the section of "Debate",in this section we debate(Daahh!!! x2) with our partners about a lot of controversial themes related with our career,I don´t like this section so much because I get nervous at the time of debating,but at the end it is very enjoyable,

So, the reason of why I love "The Pharmaceutical Chemist and his action" its because in this subject I learn a lot of things about my career and it helped me to oriented myself about what I´m gonna to do the rest of my life, and I fall in love with the forensic area <3, another thing that I love,were the "Visits",because in this section I learned how a laboratory and a hospital works,the many functions of all the Pharmaceutical Chemist in that places,the big difference between work in an hospital and work in a medical consultant, and, the most important thing,in the laboratory they gave us food(joke).

Hello again!,in this post I am gonna to show you who´s the person that I admire and did I choose him.
Nelson Mandela was born in Mvezo(South Africa).He studied law at the  University of Fort Hare and the University of the Witwatersrand,and he started to work as a lawyer in Johannesburg.And, after this, he became an activist against the "Apartheid"(a system of racial segregation and discrimination in South Africa).But in 1962, he was arrested for conspiring to derogate the state, and he was sentenced to life imprisonment.Nelson Mandela passed almost 27 years in prison,until the president F.W de Klerk released him in 1990 because they were afraid of a civil war and there was international pressure.Mandela and Klerk negotiated an end of the system of Apartheid and , in the year 1994, Nelson Mandela became in the first black person to be president of South Africa by a democratic election. His government focused on end the legacy of apartheid by tackling institutionalised racism and fostering racial reconciliation, and , for this reason,he received more than 250 honours(including the Nobel Peace Prize)and became the subject of a cult of personality.He passed away on 5 December in the year 2013 at the age of 95 :c

Well, the reason why I chose him is that i really admire the bravery of fight for his rights and the rights of all his people in a oppressor system called Apartheid.And the fact of passed almost 27 years in prison and continue without resentment against the white people and ,obviously, the main reason is that he really helped his people and he turned South Africa in a fairer place ,all the persons with the same rights no matter the color of their skin <3.

Trainspotting

Hi again! As you know,I really love the world of the 7th art,the world of the movies,actors,directors,cameras,etc. But,sadly, I am piece of trash at the moment of read a book, because I always fall asleep.

So,I don´t have a favourite book :c .But, don´t worry, because in this post I am gonna to show you what movies are my favourites and why I choose them.


Around all my life, I watch A LOT of movies, so it´s really sad and unfair for me have to choose :c

Well,my favourite movies are The Star Wars saga, The Lord of the Ring/The hobbit saga,Trainspotting,American History X.

I saw The Star Wars and The Lord of the Ring/The hobbit  saga when my institute was protesting, and I fell in love with this sagas instantaneously , I love the epic history of both movies , his characters (Han solo <3,Yoda,Anakin/Darth Vader,Leia in Star Wars and Sam,Aragorn,Thorin <3,Gandalf in The Lord of the Ring/The hobbit).And the epic Soundtrack of both sagas <33333
Well Trainspotting was a movie that I watched the last summer, and I fall in love with the art direction, the particular way of show us the history , his characters (Spud <333333).This movie teach me how sad and dangerous is the world of the addiction to drugs (heroin in this case) and gives me a very deep reflection.

American History X,wow, this movie impacted me a lot,it changed mi mind, this movie tells the history of two brothers who become evolved in the neo-Nazi movement,the older one(Derek <3) passed  three years in prison for murdered a black guy,this episode makes him changed his beliefs.And now he tries to prevent his little brother (Danny <3) from follow the same path.I really recommend this movie, it will change your mind and  it makes you think.

My favourite photo

Hello again, I have never told you before , but I really love the photographs , I really think that these are a piece of art.And for this reason, I am gonna to show you what is my favourite photography and why I chose it.



Well, this photo is called "Guerrillero Heroico" and it was taken by the Cuban photographer Alberto Korda on March 5, 1960 , in the context  of a memorial service victims of the La coubre explosion in Havana,Cuba.

In the photo you can see the legendary figure of the Cuban Revolution, Ernesto "Che" Guevara, at the age of 31, looking at the horizon with a very imposing posture and with his black beret <333.

Well I really love this photo because I really admire the figure of "Che" Guevara and all related  to the Cuban revolution.The posture of Guevara is very imposing and his facial expression transmits pain  as well as anger,including  his revolutionary spirit of free his people and fight against the tyranny.

After the execution of Guevara,this photo became one of the most influential of the 20th century,representing the fight of all Latin America  against the imperialism of U.S.A.For this reason you can see this photo in bags, shirts,flags,hats,tattoos and all merchandise  (jajaja)

My kind of music

I always said that the music is a very important thing in my life. Now i am gonna to tell you what kind of music i listen, my favorite instrument,and ,even, my favorite music of some films.

Well,sincerely,i listen all kind of music.depending of my mood.For example,when i am sad , i listen alternative music(like José Gonzalez,Lights on even Lana del Rey),when i feel angry i listen very heavy music(like Suicide Silence,BMTH,Cannibal Corpse,etc), if i was relax i listen classic rock(like the Doors, Led Zeppelin,etc) or the music of some films (like Star Wars,Harry Potter) , incredibly, in the parties i like to listen the "reggaeton" or cumbia.

Now i'm gonna to tell you what is my favorite instrument, i always like the sound of the piano,the melodica´s one and the sound of the saxophone in the jazz music.But i have to admit that i prefer the sound of the electric guitar in the music in general,sometimes when i listen a very good "solo" , i start to have chills.

But,sadly, i am a piece of trash at the moments of play instruments, i just can play the flute or the metallophone(jajaja).When i studied in the institute, i have a lot of friends that can play the guitar very well,others plays the piano and,incredibly, one of them have a band(Drainer lml) and he plays the drums.

Well, i have a lot of favorite singers and bands, i love the voice of Jim Morrison(The Doors),Jay Buchanan(Rival Sons),Janis Joplin,Freddie Mercury(Queen),Ronnie James Dio(rip :cccc),among others.I have A LOT of favorite bands , so i am gonna to say the most important for me around all my life.When i was a child, i listened Los Prisioneros CD's of my mom, in my emo stage i listen My Chemical Romance <3 all the day,when i was in the institute i start to meet in the world of heavy metal , like Megadeth,Black Sabbath, etc. and the music punk(Sex pistols,Ramones,2 minutos,Fiskales ad-hoc,etc),last year (when i was anxious,nervous and a little depressed), i started to listen metal-core bands,like Bring me The Horizon,Suicide Silence,among others.

I have to admit that i keep listening the bands that i listen when i was a child(like Los Prisioneros and even My Chemical Romance)

In the world of the films, i love the epic music of The Lord of the ring.Harry Potter and Star Wars saga or any Quentin Tarantino's film(<3)

My favorite piece of technology

So,today i'm going to show you what is my favorite piece of technology and why i chose that

Almost all my life, the music was a very important thing for me , it helps me when i am sad , alone , depressed ,happy , anxious , nervous ,etc. Basically, it could be said that i need the music.

When i was a child, i listen it on a very old radio, in that time , i used to listen my mom´s CDs all the time, mainly Los Prisioneros ones.

When i was in my emo stage, i used a MP4 that my parents gave me on Christmas.In that years i used it to listen My Chemical Romance all the day jaja, but ,suddenly, my MP4 passed away :C.

Last year, my dad gave me my first smartphone,and i love it.Now i listen to music all the time and i discovered a lot of new things.

So, i choose the cellphone as my favorite piece of technology,because it is very easy to carry, it has a lot of another functions (like talk with your friends on WhatsApp, see a movie on Netflix,use the cellphone in a test(joke),as an alarm, etc), and , the most important thing, i can use it to listen the music(i use the Spotify app <33).

Basically, i use the cellphone all the day to chat with my friends,to see the time and, obviously, to listen to music.

Sometimes, in my free time, i used to think how would be my life if i didn't have a cellphone, and i concluded that it will be so difficult for me, i couldn't chat with my girlfriend and friends anymore :c,it will be most difficult to listen to music, and, the most important thing, i can´t use it for copy on a test jajaja(joke again).

My decision

Well,i am a student of the career of chemistry and pharmacy right now.But what where my dreams when i was a child ,what made me study this career and what kind of job would i like to have?

When i was a child everything i did or thought were influenced by the video-games and movies, for example, i always love the Star wars saga, so i dreamed a lot  to be an astronaut,my frustrated dream :c(joke)

The years passed and i started to change, and my dreams started to change too. In the institute were i studied , i started to love the Biology and Chemistry area. specially the last one.

In that moment i started to think about my future, about what will i do for survive.So, the idea of working in something related to chemistry or biology  came to my head.First,i thought to study Biochemistry or Medical Technology , but it will be very hardly for me to enter in those careers, because my NEM and ranking sucks :cc.

The time passed and,once i learned my PSU score, i realised that  my score wasn´t enough to study those careers, so i started to looking for another options.And, in that moment, i started to thought about study the career of Chemistry and pharmacy, and i started to love the idea of working at forensic Area ,or working at the area of Clinic Pharmacy to,including the fact that this career have a very big  labor field.  

So , at the moment of choose what career study,i choose the career of chemistry and pharmacy as the first option.I was so happy when i realised that finally i was a student of that career in the Universidad de Chile.

Now, i have the luck to say that this was a good option, cause i met a lot of good people and,although this career is difficult, i loved it.

In the future, i would like to work in something related to the forensic area, i don´t know why, but i love it jajaja

changes of my life...

So, my name´s Sebastian Antonio Barraza Cartagena , i still have seventeen years old (unfortunately), now i am a student of chemistry and pharmacy at the Universidad de Chile. I have two sisters, my big sister´s name is Gabriela and the little one´s name is Maria José. My father´s name is Iván , he is an engineer and my lovely mother´s name is Sandra, she is the strongest person i have never meet

Well, lets talk about me, my childhood was very quiet but there only was  one problem, my mother was very overprotective with me, and that made me a very shy and lonely child.Basically , my sister was my best friend in my childhood, we did all together.And my father? well, he was absent almost all my childhood,basically i was raised by my mother. and the video-games.

When i was 5 years, I enter to study at the school Santa María of Maipú. There i made a lot of friends, i was very happy at that school,At that time i was a emo too (shamefully), i listen My chemical romance everyday and i play a lot video-games

But everything change when i enter to study at the Instituto Nacional , there i met with a lot of people but i met with the stress to, i was so alone, my parents separated and my NEM sucks.When i was at IV grade i was very stressed because i needed to have a very good PSU score to enter at the university, and i have problems with the cigarettes.

Luckily, my PSU score was good and i finally enter to the university

The stress change my personality a lot, now i love to go to parties and get drunk(joke)

At the university my life change too, there i met with a lot of lovely people that made me forgot that i was stressed,and i met with a very special person that change my life <3

The life teach me that the life has a lot of "turns" and is our objective enjoyed all the moments.
